A world made entirely of isekai'd people from various circumstances was... kind of an idea I had around two decades ago. XD
Though it was all various characters and not real world people.
I had a goddess OC of mine grabbing characters I wanted at the moment of their deaths and resurrecting them all on a planet with no sapient life and they were the only people there and had to build a new society together.
...I've recently redone a similar idea with new characters but not the "at moment of death" part and I'm just nabbing characters and OCs I think would be fun to write and chucking them into an unknown forest together.

Currently the story has gotten a day and a half in and the characters have started making woven grass baskets to carry things, and arguing about whether the fruits they're eating are apples or not. But it's not published anywhere yet.

Makes me want to go rewatch this video on Mormons be Knowing Better.
