My comment:
I don't always 100% agree with your takes on difficulty in games but we definitely share a lot with this one. And it speaks to something that annoyed me about some old Minecraft mods I used to play with in packs, whose devs were always rebalancing them to nerf their interactions with other mods and enforce certain styles of play and difficulties. Ina way that was really annoying.
Hey I took time out of my play to set up an arena for this boss fight and layer it with bear traps that took me a lot of iron farming to get the materials for, and you push out an update so the boss mob can no longer be restrained in any way or it starts teleporting. Like the whole fun of an overstuffed modpack can't possibly be to use tricks from one mod to change how you interact with another. It was really frustrating and actually put me off certain mods like Botania.
