My comment:
It is just constantly driven home to me that these sorts of people have absolutely no media literacy.
They can't process themes and messages in stories. They just have knee-jerk responses to surface level details like "uses 'body type' instead of 'male/female' in the character creator" or "has a black person in a role I don't think a black person could be in" or whatever.
A game can be dripping with leftist sentiment and they just can't see a drop of it and keep hunting for the push-buttons which have been installed in their psyches. Meanwhile a an inoffensive or even conservative sort of game mentions gender or disability or whatever and they're howling about it.
They genuinely CAN'T TELL THE DIFFERENCE unless it hits one of their triggers.

XD
I'm just shouting "STEP ON THE NET!" at my screen. "Pin it down!"
What a challenging job! But I'm glad you could help these seals.

Wait wait. I thought this was going to be someone animating from someone's gameplay video.
This is game dialogue?
Blurgh.
