I love seeing newly hatched snake videos. They're so tiny. :3 Even their little strikes are cute. Aw are you scared buddy? Is this new world big and confusing and terrifying and you're just trying to scare it away? d'aw.
Cute! The only snakes I've encountered here in person are little Sharp-tailed snakes that one of the feral cats brings in. Though with the colder weather she seems to have stopped being able to find them. Sharp tailed snakes are so small! She brings me adults and they're as tiny as those babies in the video. They're cute. They have little white mustache markings.
I'd get one if I had the space and resources to care for one, Maybe someday. Probably a garter snake. But mostly I just live with cats.
Right now I don't officially have any pets, but sitting here I'm surrounded by 3 of the ferals I've befriended who trust me enough to come inside and hang out. I'd like to officially adopt a few of them but haven't dragged any to the vet for chipping yet. These ones are fixed, though not all the ones in the area are... I'm hoping when they were fixed they were also given their shots, but I wasn't the one to take them in for fixing. They just showed up one day after being missing for a bit, with shaved parts and acting slightly out of it.
